Raja has the most adorable facial expressions. He makes this kissy face when he is tired (cutest face ever!), and thinks empty water bottles are hilarious. He has always had a thing for water bottles, but now Daddy's taught him some new tricks with them, so he is overjoyed about that. He is still trying to walk, and still trying to push those teeth out. At this rate, it's anyone's guess which one will come first. He might be walking before those little nubs finally push through his poor little gums.
Jaya ventured into the ocean in her floatie, alone. A big deal due to her extreme aversion to getting her face wet. Lately, whenever she is hungry, she wants rice and curry, no matter what time of day it is. She had a playdate the other day with a neighbor and was SO excited to have a friend come over. Her imagination has been running rampant, and she tells stories, especially as she draws. She talks about monsters a lot lately, and gives her impression of one in the video.
It was a nice weekend. We went to the beach on an overcast day, which was great. Not so exhausted, not so hot...and great timing. It started pouring raining the minute we arrived home, literally. That night, we went to a teppanyaki place, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. It is getting slightly cooler here, although it doesn't feel like fall, it's still nice. We've been walking more because of it.
Enjoy our little monsters!

I loved the video! Jaya's monster is great and Raja's new game looks like a lot of fun! Knowing my kids, they are going to try it now, only with full water bottles!

Jaya and her curry n rice, not your typical request for a lil girl, but shes got exquisite taste. Im sure shes gonna be an awesome cook like her mother. You guys been letting her watch monster movies over there? And precious lil Raji is getting so big already. Love the lil porky-pine hair. Thats definetly Kingi hair. Im so jealous you guys get to go to the beach, I havent been by ANY body of water all summer besides my bathtub. Going home this weekend so I will send you some pic and videos for jaya and raji to see thier cousins and pappa n nanny. Love you all

That gets my vote for best post so far!
This is random but are you so excited about the "where the wild things are" movie? we were looking at the concepts for it the other day....
Lacey and I were just talking about today how even out of all the cute little Polynesian kids around here, your are still the cutest we have ever seen. hehe miss those little tykes. Marei, i did enjoy watching the game today, I made it back from church for the second half, thankfully i missed the first half. I like what they kept flashing at the end my friend, 10 straight wins baby
I just read "Where the Wild Things Are" yesterday--because I just bought it on clearance from BYU's bookstore when I ordered some b-day gifts for Mike. Too funny! I feel like we have a little connection--half a world apart. Both of us with monsters and wild things on the brain!
They get cuter by the day! I love his spikey hair at the beach! You have one beautiful little girl on your hands and the cutest little boy I ever seen. I watch the videos during my free period at school and I have a junior who helps me grade papers and stuff, she thinks they are so cute and loves watching with me. I miss you guys!
