I think some kids are born sleepers. Raja is one of these. In stark contrast to Jaya, he was sleeping 5 hours straight early on. The combination of him being a natural born sleeper and me already knowing how to nurse laying down meant I never hit that bleary-eyed why-is-the-remote-in-the-fridge-and-my-dinner-in-the-dishwasher utter mom exhaustion the way I did with Jaya.
Raja got this ability to sleep anywhere from Marei. He also inherited Marei's nose, love of snuggling in his sleep, and his sunny disposition first thing in the morning. Like Daddy, Raja usually wakes up smiling and happy. I love waking up to his huge grin every morning!
