What do you have in common?
We have the same values and beliefs. We love being spouses and parents above all else. We come from different cultures but have a lot of things in common culturally. We love family and friends. We love food. We love to laugh. We both have passionate natures and strong emotions. We both can get fired up, albeit about different things. We like things neat and clean, and life orderly, although Leatha is more OCD about organization. We see eye to eye on parenting, for the most part. We both love trying new things, whether it is a different food or a different country.
How are you different?
Every other way. (See above). Leatha is cautious, Marei is more reckless. He's trusting, she's a New Yorker. She worries, he doesn't. We are so opposite, but it is perfect. Looking back, it really is incredible how much we have been blessed with in the last five years...we feel so blessed to have found each other. Life is awesome when you are married to your best friend.

As Jaya says, Happy Nam-a-ver-sa-ee!

Congratulations on your anniversary! I saw the roses left at the door for you Leatha, and now I know what they were for! haha. We miss you guys, tell Jaya that I miss her so much! I'll make sure to put up some pictures of Baloo for her to see---I have some funny ones.

Oh yeah, I saw those disgusting frog purses at a souvenir shop in cebu, and then again at the airport. ...i think the last thing I'd buy at the airport is a frog carcass/purse.

You two are perfect for eachother. Thank you Leatha for being so different but so right for my brother. And thank you for loving him even though it meant losing someone else. I remember those first days you two were dating, it was so exciting for us to finally see him happy with someone. He was a very very picky man, but he found (or you found eachother) his match. (who ever thought it would be a red cloud crusader...."mush") Congrats on 5 years. You two make it look so easy.
